The Road Less Travelled

Hello guys,

Welcome to my new blog and website, how does it look? If you haven't had a chance to look around and see some of the stuff I have done, please do go ahead and do so now :).

I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move.
— Robert Louis Stevenson

I love to travel, capture and discover new things not only in my homeland but every place I get to visit. This particular time I got a chance with a few friends to head down to Lake Natron. Lake Natron is in the Arusha Region which is North of Tanzania and it stretches close to the Kenyan border.

The route to Lake Natron is through Lake Magadi, there is actually no documented route from Magadi to Natron just several paths you see criss-crossing used during different seasons  depending on weather patterns. While at Magadi boys shall be boys and we stopped by the lake to drive the cars through the waters and take photos :)

After the mud-slinging Shani (@sirnare) and Mutua (@truthslinger) pose by their beasts of machines.

The road to Natron from Lake Magadi is non-existent and full of dust, so the cameras were safely tucked away as we plugged through the dust and ended up along the Ewaso Nyiro Delta that leads into Lake Natron.

The following morning we headed out to Lake Natron and below is the beauty that awaited us.

Here there is no stamping of passports and checking cargo while crossing borders, Maasai's from Tanzania freely cross to and fro with their livestock into Kenya and back.

Thank you for checking out my blog post, I hope you enjoyed looking at the images. Please do leave a comment down below and share widely.

Cheers!
